Lori Butterfield

Our Provo, Spanish Fork, and Orem Up With Kids director is Lori Butterfield. Lori became a teacher for Up With Kids! 18 years ago. She is the mother of four wonderful children- Allison, Rachael, Nathan, and Jessica. As a mother of children involved in Up With Kids for most of their lives, Lori can truly attest that Up With Kids has enhanced their lives by giving them more self-confidence, developing their talents, and bringing them pure joy! Lori is very grateful for the opportunities Up With Kids has given her family.

Biography

Lori's love of music began when she started piano lessons at the age of five. When she was ten she began playing the violin. As a young woman, she had the wonderful opportunity to tour North America with a Symphony Orchestra. She has also experienced the thrill of performing in several musical theatre productions.

Lori loves kids and has been teaching them most of her life. She has enjoyed being a pre-school teacher, substitute teacher, Girl Scout leader, and teaching children at church. Because of her love of the performing arts, teaching Up With Kids has been a highlight of her life. She has seen many, many children grow in self confidence and enhance their natural talents and abilities. She loves seeing them shine when they perform. Lori truly believes that teaching acting to children will help them in many aspects of their lives- now and in the future.
