Bonnie Knudson

Rose Park director Bonnie Knudson has always made sure she was doing something to help children be all they can be. Her daughter has been in Up With Kids for 5 years, beginning with “Annie”. Her son joined a year later to appear in “Shrek 2 ¾”, After watching how the program benefits her children, Bonnie wanted to share those benefits with other children by becoming a director.

Biography

Bonnie has always had a special place in her heart for the performing arts and a love of children. Whether performing in plays starting in junior high school, playing the flute, or participating in ballet recitals, Bonnie always enjoyed the arts, even from a young age. As she got older, she began sharing that love with children, including running her church’s young children’s choir in Nebraska, being in charge of musical activities when working at a daycare, or in her 6 years so far as a Girl Scout leader. Up With Kids gives her the perfect opportunity to teach children about the arts and help them to bring out their talents, all the while keeping it fun.
