JANUARY- LEARN AUDITION SKILLS MONTH
Week 1 Tuition Due. TEAMWORK DAY! Pass the Mic Song Review. Conduct a Story Teamwork.
Week 2 Audition Skills- Learn About 16-Bar Vocal Auditions. Tongue Twister Diction. Stage Makeup.
Week 3 Audition Skills- Learn About Monologues. Vocal Projection. Who Stole the Cookies Acting.
Week 4 Audition Skills- Learn About Dance Auditions. If You Can Walk, You Can Dance. Energy Ball.
FEBRUARY
Week 1 Tuition Due. CASTING DAY! Memorize Three Things: Lines/Actions. Cues. Blocking.
Week 2 Practice Group Scenes, Songs, Dances. Stage Crew Lesson. Toss the Dice Stage Directions.
Week 3 Rehearse Scenes 6 and 9, in regular classes. Homework: Get help memorizing your part!
Week 4 Combined Rehearsal: Scenes 6 and 9. Everybody comes the 2nd TWO hours. Deadline For Memorizing Part!
MARCH
Week 1 Tuition Due. Scene Rehearsals: 1st hour-Scene 2. 2nd hour- Scene 4. 3rd hour-Scene 1. Scripts allowed.
Week 2 Scene Rehearsals: Same as last week. No scripts allowed on stage. You can do it on your own!
Week 3 Scene Rehearsals: 1st hour-Scenes 2, 6. 2nd hour-Scenes 4, 7. 3rd hour-Scenes 1, 3, 5. Scripts
Week 4 Scene Rehearsals: Same as March 17th. No scripts allowed on stage. You can do it on your own!
Week 5 Scene Rehearsals: 1st hour- Scenes 2, 6, 8. 2nd hour- Scenes 4, 7, 8. 3rd hour- Scenes 1, 3, 5, 8. No scripts.
APRIL
Week 1 SPRING RECESS- NO CLASSES WILL BE HELD THIS WEEK.
Week 2 Tuition Due. Same as last class. No scripts allowed on stage. You can do it on your own!
Week 3 Combined Show Rehearsal: Everybody comes the 2nd TWO hours.
Week 4 May Tuition Due. Final Rehearsal: Everybody comes the 2nd TWO hours.
